2: A tracing of fingertips with a head rested on shoulder; the backseat of a car while the ocean passed us; shirts left to dry after a forbidden look into an eye; bands on a makeshift stage with milk poured from emptied jars; black leather boots on shattered glass; a bruised lip near a whiskered streetlight; a cheap ventriloquist with a tarnished ring; the book that never made it to print; and an anchor in a running shower.
